This couple could not be sweeter. They got married on the beach in San Diego, just the two of them, one friend, and the pastor. It was so simple and lovely. And they were so lovely, too. I hope so much that I get to photograph them again!

This is Gavin. His mama is a photographer. She has been invaluable in helping me along my journey as one, too. Their family is super sweet and we had fun planning some things to try for Gavin's first birthday session! I think my favorite thing from the session was a quilt we used that Kim and Brandon have had in all of their family photos. It was so fun to add it to another one!

I loved photographing this family and being able to capture moments for them. It is always my goal to catch the moments that I would love to see captured for my own family. It was a blast doing this for Kim.

Happy 1st birthday, Mr. Gavin!

My amazing friend Lindsay is graduating from Purdue with her PhD, and I am so super proud of her! She is moving away to take a job at Michigan State, and I am so sad to see her go. I know that she will make tons of friends there; she has an amazing personality and so very many talents. Her mom wanted to get some graduation portraits done of Lindsay and her faithful pup Sunny (I mean, the dog goes on 10+ mile runs with her, how much more faithful can you get??) before she moved. It was lots of fun, and Sunny did a great job as a first-time model!!! Good luck, Lindsay, in Michigan (um, and Go Boilers)!!!

I made myself schedule in my girls in their Easter dresses. I usually try to be less "matchy" for pictures, but I love the sweetness of sweet little sister-girls in matching clothing. And I probably won't be able to do it for much longer, as my oldest is turning 5 soon (tear). For now, they love to match, so I am holding onto it. I love taking pictures of my girls. They are my biggest inspiration, my greatest accomplishment, and their beauty is astounding to me. I love how they love each other, and how my oldest is starting to help her little sister do new things. This time, she kept trying to teach her how to blow dandelions...I am glad I have these pictures so I don't forget these moments of teaching and bonding between my sweet, sweet girls. These moments are what I cherish most in photography and what I always strive to capture for clients. And now I will share some of them with you.

This little miss was so much fun to photograph! I loved, loved, loved all of her thick, dark hair. I love spending time photographing newborns, and love how sweet, soft, and squishy they are. And Ava was especially sweet.

I love that this session was so much a lifestyle session of this new little family loving on one another and cuddling their sweet baby boy!!! It was so obvious how over-the-moon in love they were with their new little man. We got some sweet shots of Andrew by himself, but my favorites are definitely the ones where his gorgeous parents are lovin' on him!! This whole session was just lovely....lovely baby, lovely family, lovely home.

So, you saw Cole's family earlier in a maternity session. He is HERE!!! What a sweet baby, and his big bro and big sis think he is great. They were so helpful with him and just in awe of the little guy. It was so sweet! Big sis helped feed him a bottle and big bro was quick to comfort him when he cried...needless to say, I think Cole is going to be well taken care of! Here are some pics of this sweet little one...(um, and can you believe all that hair??)

Raegan is such a little princess. We were not so sure that she would like being all fancied up, but she LOVED it! She was so interested in the pearls and all of the different textures. She is such a sweet and happy baby.

Anne's Maternity Session ~ West Lafayette Indiana Family Photographer

I just absolutely LOVE this family! Anne was one of my friends from my Purdue days, we were in each other's weddings, and have been there for moves and the growth of our families. I loved taking these photographs as they waited for the newest member of their family to arrive. Anne is amazing and super crafty, and she made the kids their cute I heart Cole shirts. They were fantastic!! Cole is a lucky little guy to have these people as his family, and they already love him SO much!

This was one windy day, but these guys did great!! We even changed locations part way through the session, so that the little man was happier! The boys loved playing in the leaves, so it was a good move!! And the moment we finished and got into our cars, it started raining. Perfect timing!
